Founded in 1842 by Thomas Elliott, Elliotts is the South’s leading independent supplier of building materials for the trade and public. Currently celebrating its 175th anniversary, Elliotts is one of the oldest family businesses in the South and ranks 111th in the world. The company has 13 branches across Hampshire and Dorset, including two specialist tool centres and four kitchen, bathroom and bedroom showrooms under the name of Elliotts Living Spaces. 

Today, Elliotts is run by Tom Elliott, the sixth generation of Elliotts to take the helm of the business. His father, Stuart Mason Elliott, remains active in the company as chairman.

Over time, Elliotts has acquired other successful businesses including; Blanchards Brickworks (Bishops Waltham) in 1956, H.G. Webber & Son (Ringwood) in 1981, Fordams (Fordingbridge) in 1989 and most recently Hardley’s Kitchen and Bathrooms (Lymington) in 2015.
