The National Family Business Awards, organised and hosted by Family Business Place have a growing reputation for discovering and recognising the most outstanding family businesses throughout all four corners of the UK and Ireland.

History of the awards
The National Family Business Awards (previously known as the Red Ribbon Awards), now in their second year, have quickly become THE family business awards everyone wants to be a part of. The NFBA’s are the UK and Ireland’s only awards dedicated to family businesses. From small local retailers to large manufacturing firms; we are committed to publicising their achievements and creating opportunities for their businesses to grow. This is why the NFBA’s is the most talked about date in the family business calendar.

Family Business Place
We’re a vibrant, lively team dedicated to promoting and supporting British family firms. In fact, we’re completely bonkers about them. As well as the NFBA’s, we host Family Business Conferences, Private Lunches, Growth Clubs, Forum Events and publish a beautiful magazine and we’re pretty handy on social media too. But as a family business, we know that mixing business and family can be challenging, to say the least. That’s why our Founder, Anita, is on hand to offer guidance and mediation to families needing a helping hand. Whatever the challenges or opportunities facing a family business, we are here to offer advice, support and guidance.

Meet the entertainment
We are delighted to be welcoming one of the most sought-after performance choirs in the South East, ‘The Rubies’ (based in Tenterden Kent). Formed eight years ago by their founder and musical director, Max Wilson, The Rubies have performed at spectacular events all over the county and are now seen regularly performing at major venues such as Rochester Cathedral and the City of London’s famous Guildhall, as well as many provincial theatres and festivals. Fuelled by Prosecco, tea and laughter this is one choir that you don’t want to miss!
